SEO in one minute
SEO (Search Engine Optimization) covers everything that allows a page to be crawled, indexed and ranked well by search engines. It breaks down into three areas: technical (is the site accessible and readable?), content (does it answer what people search for?) and authority (do other websites talk about it?).
In the age of answer engines, these basics haven't gone away: they have become the entry ticket. Assistants that search the web only read what the indexes have found and understood.
Why SEO matters even more with AI
- No index, no citation. A page that is blocked, slow or poorly marked up won't be read by the assistants' web search.
- Structure pays off twice. Clear headings and a clean hierarchy help Google rank the page, and help AIs extract an answer from it.
- Structured data is read by everyone. JSON-LD describes your business unambiguously, for search engines and language models alike.
What changes are the priorities: keyword density matters less, while a clear answer and verifiable facts matter more. See GEO and AIO.

These points are measured on the page, not estimated by an AI:
| Check | What we look at | Why |
|---|---|---|
| HTTPS | Secure connection | A baseline trust requirement for search engines and visitors |
| Title tag | Presence and length | The first signal of what the page is about, shown in the results |
| Meta description | Presence and length | The summary shown in the results, often reused by AIs |
| Headings (H1–H6) | A single H1, consistent hierarchy | The outline of the page, split into extractable answers |
| Alt text | Images described | Accessibility and understanding of images |
| Sitemap | Present and declared | Helps every page get crawled |
| robots.txt | Access for search crawlers and AI crawlers | A block makes the page invisible |
| JSON-LD | Present, valid, suited to the business | Describes the business unambiguously |
Local SEO
For a business serving a geographic area, what matters most is ‘service + town’ searches and the Google Business Profile: the right categories, up-to-date opening hours, photos, reviews and replies to reviews, and information identical to what's on the website.
This is also the information AIs cross-check before recommending a local provider. A different address or phone number between the website and the profile is enough to cast doubt.
What we do, and what we don't
GEO Invader checks the technical fundamentals, generates missing structured data, and suggests local keywords and content for your Google profile. We don't track your Google rankings and we don't replace a rank tracker or a backlink analysis tool: the outcome we measure is your citations in AI answers.
